FIT 2 the T offers a variety of seminars on topics including Stress Management, Healthy eating for Success, Beating the Winter Blues, Healthy breakfast and Snack ideas, Preparing for the golf season, Think Positive and be Positive, The Truth behind Fat Loss, Physical activity and the benefits, Healthy pregnancy, and many more. These one hour sit down presentations will help individuals understand the importance of making healthy preventative lifestyle choices.
Healthy Eating for Success
This presentation looks at how to make smart food choices both for busy professionals and for everyday living. This is not a cookie cutter for losing weight, and it does not suggest calculating calories. This presentation is designed to educate individual on how to make healthy food choices today, tomorrow, and for the remainder of their lives.
Stress Management made simple
Most individuals have stress in their lives. Stress is a reaction to changes that occur, and ones perception of those changes is what can create stress or eliminate it. This one hour presentation is going to explore the different types of stress in ones life and how changing perception can chance the stress experienced. As well, individuals will learn a few basic relaxation techniques such as deep breathing, progressive relaxation and mindfulness which they will be able to use in their everyday living.
Work Place Balance
As adults that are many responsibilities and many “hats” to wear. In this presentation individuals are going to lean how to find a balance between work and their daily lives. As a team, wee will explore how the group can make some changes in order to find balance within their daily lives, as well around the workplace. This presentation will have individual activities as well as group participation and idea flow.
Be Active, Eat Healthy, and Be Yourself
A strong self esteem facilitates full participation in life and will help individuals achieve great success. This presentation will teach individuals how to become physically active, learn how to eat a balanced diet, and most importantly; will help individuals restore a positive self image. This presentation has many hands on activities to help individuals succeed and more towards a healthier, happier, balanced lifestyle.
This presentation is for employees (individuals) who are going on mat leave, or are currently on mat leave, helping woman have the best possible pregnancy so that they can return to work sooner. We will explore the different stages of pregnancy and what happens in each trimester both for the mother and the baby. As well, educate the individuals on how to eat a healthy diet and maintain proper physical activity for a successful pregnancy.
Beat the Winter Blues
The winter months are long and cold in the North; many individuals can experience what is known as seasonal effect disorder. This presentation will discuss ways in which individuals can stay happy and healthy in the winter months. Both diet and physical activity will be discussed as a way to beat the blues.
The Truth behind Fat Loss
There are many fad diets out there today that relay the wrong message. They suggest cutting back food consumption and eliminating food groups which will only lead to disasters. This presentation will look at the truth behind fat loss, and educate individuals about the many myths related to weight loss.
Exercise? Where do I begin?
Many individuals know that physical activity is important but do not know where to start. They are concerned that they will look silly and worry that they are doing things wrong. This presentation will look at narrowing down SMART goals, and how this “coaching” method is a great way to get started of in the right direction. This presentation will talk about many different activities and their individual benefits.
